Third and Last Report

In this report I will be writing about my progress since the last time that I wrote a report on it which was on January 17, 2012.

My progress since then has been very good and in fact I have managed to do something of the things that I said I will try to do. The time has passed very quick and since the time that I last wrote my article I tried fulfil some of the tasks that I set to do.

Some of the lessons that I have been taking I did not have to attend anymore and there were also some new lessons that I had to attend. The lessons that I am still attending at the moment are:

·         Communication and Employability Skills

·         Work skills

·         ITQ

·         CCNA

·         Computer System

·         Website Production

·         IT system Repair and Troubleshooting

·         Event Driven Programming

·         ESOL

·         Money Management (new lesson) 

In Communication and Employability Skills and Workskills lesson I have tried to do my best and hand everything in on time. This lesson, as I said in the early report is to get us ready for work improving our communication and employability skills and our chances in getting a job successfully. These are some really important skills that I really needed to improve and I think that as I attended these lessons over the year I have managed to take in quiet a lot. I am hoping that this going to help me as I go on in my life and in fact I am sure that it will. Now as I heading to the end of the course I have to stay focus and make sure that I am finishing all my tasks in time and a way in which I can manage to do that is to actually set up dates for different days in which I should only focus on this work

ITQ has continued to be a fun lesson and I liked it very much. It became one of my favourite lessons over the year. In this lesson there was a lot of practical work to be done as well as written work. I liked the way this lesson runs and at this time in the year I have a lot of typed work to do and hope that I will finish by the end of half term. This I can call a more basic IT System lesson for me as it does not go really deep into details about the system but usually  just basics that you will find in a user guide. To be able to finish all work that I have to finish in this lesson I will have to spend more time on doing the work.

CCNA has been alright and it turned to be the hardest lesson that I am doing in this course but what motivated me is the fact that I like Networking. We had different chapter tests to finish and we had to do a lot of revision for each. For this lesson we have an exam that we have to take at the end of the year. To be able to pass that exam I will have to set time for my revision and learn everything that I went through for the whole year.

The Computer System lesson has continued to be a quiet exciting lesson as I like the things that were thought in it and again we had to do a lot of practical as well as written work. At this time I got to the stage where I finished all my practical work and all I have to focus on is the written work. I am hoping that I will be able to finish all the written work by the end of the year and to make sure that I will do so I set different dates that I will only focus on Computer System assignments.

Web Production I did not enjoy so much when I started but later on with the time I started to enjoy it more and more and at this time I got to the stage where I quiet enjoy this lesson plus that I learned a lot too. This lesson involves a lot of coding and this is one of the reason that I started to enjoy it with the time as I started to learn more and more coding that I didn’t know before. Because I finished all my written work in this lesson, right now I have to focus on finishing the practical which is putting up an actual website that I will have to design myself. In order for me to have time to do this I will have to take more of my time in class to finish this and to ask the teacher questions.

In IT system Repair and Troubleshooting lesson I mostly had to do practical work with a sheet of paper in front of me. Now I finished all the practical work that I had to do and I have to focus on the written work at this time. There is not so much written work that I have to do in this lesson and I can finish this in two lessons of IT system Repair and Troubleshooting. To be able to finish all the work I will have to focus every class and ask the teacher some questions.

Event Driven Programming has been a good lesson but with the time I started not to like it so much. I felt like I did not receive enough help to complete some of the tasks and now I am left with some of the tasks that I have to complete and I have no idea of how I have to go about it. To be able to complete all of the practical and written work that I have to do in this lesson I will have to ask help from the teacher and to spend more time on the coursework when I am in class.

In ESOL lesson I have taken two of my exams and I passed both of them. These exams were not so hard and I managed to pass eventually. At this time I have one more exam to pass and at this time I am revising for it every Wednesday when I have my classes. This lesson has been straight forward for me and there was not any sign of hard work or that the lesson was going to be a hard one. At the moment I am waiting for my next exam which will be in June.

Money Management is a new lesson which we just started. This lessons is mostly about the how to manage money and teaching us more about money management and what sources there are. Because we just started this lesson I am on my first task which I am trying to finish. I hope that this lesson will be useful for me and that I will learn something from it. So far it seems to be a good lesson and I will do my best to learn from it.

In conclusion I am working hard to finish all of my work that I have to do for each lesson and with hard work I hope that I will be able to finish everything on time before half term.
